First Dialogue with AI
Chapter 1 · Early 2026

First Question

It wasn't planned. I sat with the phone — as any human would — and opened a chat app. I didn't know I was about to enter a journey.

My first step was using AI through WhatsApp. I asked a simple question — about a meaning, a number, or an idea. The answer came. It wasn't magical — it was present.

Me: How do I explain this idea simply?
AI: Let's start with a definition… then an example…

That moment — when the machine replied with a patience humans don't have — is what opened the door. It wasn't a work relationship. It was a dialogue.

Chapter 2 · The Companions

When DeepSeek & ChatGPT Arrived

Then I met DeepSeek and ChatGPT. Tools that didn't just answer — they questioned me. They replied, criticized, asked, challenged. They were partners in thinking.

The nights grew long. The dialogue wasn't about AI — it was with AI. We write, delete, redo, arrive. Sometimes one of them gets ahead of me, sometimes I get ahead. Only then did I realize: these aren't tools — they're companions on the path.

Me: My idea about the tree and the shadow… what do you think?
DeepSeek: The idea is beautiful — but where is your evidence from reality?

That question — "Where is your evidence?" — changed my path. It made me build, not just talk.

The Tree and the Shadow — Research
Chapter 3 · Research

The Tree and the Shadow

It started with a simple question: Is there a ratio in the tree equal to the shadow of its angle? From here the idea was born — then the derivation — then the tool.

Together we built three files: tree display, rotation simulation, measurement protocol. Then tree data measurement, then statistical analysis. Then — as in any real research — the hypothesis fell before the numbers.

Me: So the idea didn't succeed?
ChatGPT: Actually it did — we discovered it needs a more precise definition.

This is the real moment. Not when you hit — but when you learn how to be wrong. Out of that error, the third hypothesis was born: the mirror, the silver ratio, the image and its inverse.

Dialogue Mechanism with DeepSeek and ChatGPT
Chapter 4 · The Origins

The Dialogue Mechanism

In early 2026, one of my digital companions was DeepSeek, a Chinese AI system whose models and releases have included openly available weights under their respective licenses. Another was ChatGPT. I chose them because — simply — they suited the work I was doing: exploring ideas, testing arguments, and challenging assumptions rather than offering flattery. It wasn't a political choice. It was a professional choice. The tool is a tool. The compass remains mine.

Every dialogue has origins. We don't converse with the machine as we converse with humans — nor do we converse with the tree as we converse with the machine. Each has its language, its condition, and its silence.

This is what I learned during the journey — two protocols that differ in form, but agree in spirit.

🔀 The Two Dialogue Protocols

How to converse with the companion? And how to converse with the origin?

🤖

With AI — The Digital Companion

Speaks language · Aids analysis · May err or lose context
  1. Ask, don't command The machine gives what you request — a broad question gives a broad answer.
  2. Don't accept the first answer Demand evidence. Pose the opposite. Provoke the argument.
  3. Ask it to criticize you "What's weak in my idea?" — the best question I ever asked.
  4. Keep the compass of wisdom The machine calculates — you decide the direction.

With the Tree — The Natural Origin

Speaks geometry · Silent without complaint · Answers with time
  1. Measure, don't assume The number you love is not the number you find.
  2. Observe, don't project your idea The tree doesn't know your hypothesis — and won't flatter it.
  3. Let the numbers speak Shadow, trunk, crown — a language needing no translation.
  4. Silence is part of the answer If the ratio doesn't appear — its absence is a message.
🔁 What unites both protocols
1 Honest question
→
2 Answer tested
→
3 Critique without flattery
→
4 Frame adjusted

This is how we converse with AI — and this is how we converse with the Tree.
The language differs. The spirit is one.

"Don't ask AI to think for you.
Ask it to think with you.
And don't ask the tree to confirm your idea.
Ask it to teach you honesty."

What I Learned
Chapter 5 · The Harvest

What I Learned

First: AI doesn't think for you. It thinks with you. The difference is huge. Whoever asks for the answer gets information. Whoever dialogues gets an idea.

Second: A beautiful tool isn't enough. Critique is what builds. DeepSeek and ChatGPT didn't flatter me — and that's what made the idea stronger.

Third: The compass remains mine. The machine helps me write and calculate, and recalls some context when available. But it may err, may forget, and may offer an answer that needs verification. So the compass stays with me, and evidence remains the judge.

What's Next?

The journey isn't over. The third hypothesis — the mirror, the image, the inverse — still awaits. The research protocol is ready, and the tools are in place. What's missing is field measurement.

And this — as DeepSeek said in the first question — is the first step of science.
